Serbian Paralympians have won numerous medals at competitions around the world, inspiring not only people with disabilities but society as a whole. A meeting of the Executive Board of the Paralympic Committee of Serbia was held July 14th in Arilje, where plans for participation in the Paralympic Games were discussed, along with measures to further develop sports for people with disabilities.
On April 18–19, the streets of Belgrade hosted a two-day marathon that brought together more than 14,000 amateur and professional athletes from 79 countries. One of the most powerful symbols of the event was not speed or records, but the united team of Parasport Foundation, established by Oleg Boyko, and the Paralympic Committee of Serbia.
