On April 18–19, the streets of Belgrade hosted a two-day marathon that brought together more than 14,000 amateur and professional athletes from 79 countries. One of the most powerful symbols of the event was not speed or records, but the united team of Parasport Foundation, established by Oleg Boyko, and the Paralympic Committee of Serbia.
The agreement signed in Belgrade last week makes the Parasport Foundation the main supporter through to Los Angeles 2028, providing financial backing and measures to raise the visibility of disability sport.
