On April 18–19, the streets of Belgrade hosted a two-day marathon that brought together more than 14,000 amateur and professional athletes from 79 countries. One of the most powerful symbols of the event was not speed or records, but the united team of Parasport Foundation, established by Oleg Boyko, and the Paralympic Committee of Serbia.

Participants of different abilities and levels of preparation took to the start line together across all distances — 10, 21, and 42 kilometers. What united them was not the race against the clock, but a shared idea: sport is for everyone. The team competed in all disciplines, setting the tone for the entire weekend and drawing special attention from spectators.

This group included not only athletes but also families with children, for whom participation became part of a broader movement toward inclusion, support, and mutual understanding. For many, the race was not about results, but about a personal victory — over fears, limitations, and circumstances.

Along the course, they were supported by an enthusiastic crowd: applause, signs, and shouts of "bravo" turned every kilometer into an emotional dialogue between participants and the city.

This marathon became an example of how a sporting event can go beyond competition and evolve into a platform for meaningful social impact. The united team showed that the most important result is not the finishing time, but the opportunity to be part of something bigger.
